ABOUT DR. MAYA

Dr. Maya Al Hawary is a prominent leader in education and emotional intelligence, holding the distinction of being the first Ph.D. scholar in Emotional Intelligence and its effect on leadership in the UAE. She has been the Development and Planning Manager at Dubai Carmel School since 2014 and serves as Chairwoman of its Board of Governors.

Her contributions to society include being named a Knight of Tolerance in 2019 and receiving the Life Achievement Award by H.H. Sheikh Ahmad bin Faisal AlQassimi in 2020 for her volunteer efforts. She has also been recognized among the 100 Most Influential Personalities in MENA for her work supporting women, children, and individuals with special needs.

Dr. Maya is a certified trainer with over 900 hours of training delivered across the UAE. She is also a published author, columnist, and social media influencer, known for her dedication to community service and knowledge sharing.
